Privacy Policy
Tracky reserves the right to modify any terms and conditions in this policy at any time and for any reason. Notices of significant changes will be posted on Tracky's website. You are responsible for reviewing these changes. If you disagree with them, discontinue using Tracky's website, uninstall our apps, and stop using our data. By visiting our site and/or using any of our services, you agree to have your personal information handled as per this policy.
Public Information
We keep our privacy policy straightforward because Tracky doesn't deal with private data. The data collected and displayed on Tracky is public data. Think of Tracky as a open source analyst. The data you see on our site is the same public data you would find by visiting social media sites directly and noting down follower counts, etc. If the information isn't publicly displayed on those sites, it's not collected or shown on our website either. Apart from operating the site itself, we do not collect or store private information.
Further Details
Like most websites, we use cookies. Cookies allow you to log into a website once and stay logged in until you log out, rather than typing your login/password on every page. You visit Tracky for analytics, and analytics help us understand site usage, which sections you visit most frequently, and so on. This helps us improve the site. Google Analytics and other tools we may use from time to time are essential for this purpose. Without them, we wouldn't know how to assist you. We provide many of our services free of charge. However, servers and the team maintaining them cost money. Therefore, we monetize the site via ads. If you prefer not to see ads, we offer a paid subscription to remove them. Paid subscriptions and other payments are processed through a third party, Stripe, so your credit card details aren't stored by us.
Private Data
What private information do we have? In short, very little. If you create an account with us, you do so with an email address and password. We do not store passwords directly; instead, we use Google's Firebase for authentication, ensuring that your password is securely managed. We recommend using a unique password, as we can't guarantee other sites follow the same practices. If you have paid for one of our services, the email associated with that, along with your name, is on file. As noted above, your credit card details are only handled by our payment processor (Stripe), not us. If you authenticate your social media account with us, we have an authorization token that creates this connection. We never store or access your third-party service passwords. Additionally, every visit to any website has an associated IP address, so we have that linked to your account. This is crucial for preventing fraud. To be clear, the private data mentioned above is solely for operating the website. We do not sell or give away private data.
Private Data Removal
As detailed in the previous section, there are two types of private data: information to create and maintain your account, and authorization tokens for third-party authenticated accounts. To remove the authorization token for third-party authenticated accounts, you have three options: 1. Use the tools provided by the third-party site. 2. Use the authenticated accounts section in your dashboard. 3. Contact us via a support ticket and respond to any follow-up questions to verify your identity. Once you choose any of these methods, there's nothing else to delete, as we don't collect private data from your third-party account. To remove your account entirely, including all connected accounts, you can do so via your account settings page.
Information Sharing
Tracky may share your information for the following reasons: - To comply with the law, a court order, or other legal processes. - When we believe it is necessary to investigate or prevent illegal activities, suspected fraud, potential threats to anyone's safety, violations of our Terms of Use or this Policy, or as evidence in litigation. - To share aggregate information about users with third parties for marketing, advertising, research, or similar purposes.
User-Generated Content
You are welcome to post content on our Telegram Chat or other services. If you post content, all the information posted and the username you use will be available to the public. Tracky cannot prevent your posts from being used in ways that violate this policy, the law, or your personal privacy.
Third-Party Links
Tracky's site includes links to third-party websites. Access to and use of linked websites is governed by those third parties' privacy policies. Tracky is not responsible for their information practices.
Data Sources
To keep statistical data updated, Tracky utilizes public data sources from third parties, including but not limited to Instagram. We only gather publicly available data from these APIs, not private information about your account.
